Registration

General Information

The CBMS 2008 registration process is handled by the service congress bureau Jyväskylä Events (www.jklcongresses.fi) via on-line registration system.

If on-line registration is not possible, please, contact the Symposium Office (run by Jyväskylä Events) by e-mail (cbms08registration@congreszon.fi) or by fax (+358 20 748 1829) to receive instructions for registering and a pdf-registration form. Please, note that e-mails with insufficient registration information cannot be accepted as registrations, and therefore are not processed.

Symposium Registration Fees

The fees for regular participants cover Symposium proceedings and the participation in all Symposium sessions, Symposium materials, coffee breaks, the Welcoming Reception and the Symposium Dinner. Student registration does not include the proceedings. The Accompanying person's fee covers a sightseeing tour (minimum 10 participants), the Welcoming Reception and the Symposium Dinner.

At least one author of each accepted paper must pay a full registration fee by 28 March 2008 for that paper to appear in the proceedings. If the author has more than one paper, full registration fee has to be paid for each paper. A student who is the sole author of the paper is entitled to pay the student registration fee for this paper.

The student rate applies to full-time students only. Student participants are requested to fax or send a copy of their student ID to the Symposium Office.

If you only plan to attend and are not submitting a paper, pre-registration is still strongly encouraged.

Payment Procedure

The Symposium registration fees must be fully paid in euros either on-line by credit card when registering (Visa, MasterCard and Eurocard are accepted), or as bank transfer to the Symposium bank account (Bank: Sampo Bank Oyj-Plc, account: 800010-70766853, international format: FI18 8000 1070 7668 53, BIC and SWIFT codes: DABAFIHH, bank address: P.O. Box 100, 0075 SAMPO PANKKI, HELSINKI, Finland). With your payment, please make sure to give the name of the participant and the name of the Symposium. More detailed information on payment is given on the on-line registration forms.

NOTE! Full author registration fee if paid as a bank transfer has to arrive to the Symposium bank account no later than 28 March 2008.

NOTE! To benefit from pre-negotiated hotel rates, please make sure to book your accommodation at the same time when you register, either on-line or using registration form.

Terms of Cancellation

For written cancellations received before 28 March full refund on the registration fee will be paid subject to the cancellation fee of 30€. For written cancellations made between 29 March and 31 May the cancellation fee is 100€. From 1 June no refund will be paid on the registration fees.
